45y/o alcoholic male sustained displaced femoral neck fracture in a fall in his backyard. A/P of the hip injury view shown.

Lateral injury view.

Underwent open reduction and cannulated screw fixation. A/P operative view shown.

Follow-up A/P pelvis demonstrates compression at fracture site with shortening.
