- similar to adolescent, often associated with intraspinal abnormality, most often syringomyelia and Arnold-Chiari malformations.
- 70% of curves progress

- Serial casting for progressive curve >25 degrees followed by CTLSO or TLSO
- Growing rod for curves >60 degrees. Will eventually require A/PSFI
