Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia (MED)

short-limbed, disproportionate dwarfism

manifests 5-14y/o

irregular, delayed ossification at  multiple epiphyses

Bilateral flattening of the femoral heads sugguest MED. If noted a skeletal survey is indicated to evaluate other epipyses for involvement. Unilateral flattening of the femoral head suggests Perthes disease.
