  • LFCN most commonly passes 1cm medial to ASIS, but  it is variable

  • numbness paresthesias pain in the anterolateral thigh, purely sensory

  • A/P pelvis, A/P and lat of affected hip generally normal
  • diagnosis can be supported by SSEP or nerve conduction
