Ulnar Shaft Fracture Cases

 grade 1 open ulnar shaft fracture 61y/o male assaulted with the butt of an AK-47. Sustained Grade 1 open ulnar shaft fracture. Injury picture shown.

Patient was treated with IV antibiotic(one dose), tetnus and extension of wound with irrigation, debridement and short arm case placement.

Recent research has suggested that ORIF would provide better long term outcome.
